What Makes Our Plans Different

  • Our plans are CUSTOM and specifically designed for your race. We build them only after having spoken to you and performed a gait analysis & assessment that focus on your current running, strength, mobility fitness level. Not your typical training plan created by a machine or algorithm.

  • We tailor your training plan based on your race date, experience level and past running experience.

  • Plans not only feature workouts and long runs each week of varying quantity, duration and intensity but also strength training workouts to help you reach your goals injury free.

RFL Team at California International Marathon qualifying for the Boston Marathon

California International Marathon

Qualify for the Boston Marathon at the California International Marathon. Hoping to run a sub-4 or sub-3 marathon? Running and endurance personal trainer, Coach Gomez, has successfully coached many runners, even if you’re recovering from a running injury, to qualify for the Boston Marathon.

Each week will include easy, long, tempo and speed runs as well as strength exercises, rest days and optional cross-training.

Livermore Half Training Plan

One of the most scenic half marathons, it runs through Livermore Wine Country. A challenging course with hills and terrain transitions, our plan will focus on not only building mileage but also strength.


How It Works

 

Step 1

 

We perform a virtual gait analysis and fitness assessment via an online video call that provides a whole body evaluation of your movement patterns. This enables us to design your custom running plan to improve your running form. Poor form can lead to common running injures like foot & ankle injures, plantar fasciitis, shin splints, runner’s knee and more.

 

Step 2

 

After your assessment, we will write you a custom 12-18-week training planning to help you hit your running goals like qualifying for a major marathon, reaching your PR time or conquering that new distance. Your plan will be emailed to you as PDF attachment within 1 week of your assessment.

 

Step 3

 

You hop on a 15 minute call with your Personal Trainer & Running Coach to review your custom training plan. This is your time to ask any questions and get clarification on workouts and specific exercise mentioned in your plan.
